Then it is possible that there is a graphics card chip problem. This sometimes happens when the chip becomes extremely hot and the soldering beneath the chip melts and the chip becomes dislrodged. To repair this fault the laptop must be opened to the motherboard level and after the VGA chip is identification it must be skilfully removed and re-soldered back into the correct position. In some cases the chip must be completely replaced. *Note that the price quoted here is for the labour cost and if there is a need for a replacement chip then this costs separately.
